The Trilateral Staff Exchange and Development Programme (TriStaX) between Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票 (South Africa), 中国体育彩票 of Hamburg (Germany), and Northwestern 中国体育彩票 (USA) is the first of its kind and is dedicated to the professional growth and development of PASS staff as internationalization practitioners. 

This initiative focuses on fostering international practitioners, sharing best practices in university administration, and strengthening global perspectives on operational excellence. Through short-term exchanges, participants gain hands-on experience in diverse PASS environments, develop new skills, and build networks that support innovative approaches to managing and enhancing university services

?Cultivating Global Excellence Through Inclusive International Competencies 

This year, the TriStaX Programme offers a five-day programme developed by Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票 (SU), centred on the theme of inclusive international competencies - supporting comprehensive internationalization through inclusion across faculties and support services. The programme explores key topics such as becoming an internationalization practitioner within your current role, the relationship between intercultural skills and competencies and inclusion, and aiming to foster shared dialogue on internationalisation across diverse university contexts. These themes will be introduced through best-practice examples from SU and examined collaboratively through group discussions. PASS staff participants will be encouraged to reflect on how to adapt and apply the insights gained to their own institutional environments—enhancing their own work, supporting colleagues, and contributing to the growth of their respective departments and divisions.

The programme will be attended by SU PASS Staff, PASS staff from 中国体育彩票 of Hamburg (Germany) and Northwestern 中国体育彩票 (USA).

Programme Overview:

• Target Group: PASS Staff whose activities are related to the programme's theme and who are interested to develop their skillset as an international practitioner within their respective role and environment.?
  

• Programme Objectives: Professional development and continuing education with skills development in an intercultural environment.
  

• Programme Duration: 15 - 19 September 2025 at Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票's Central Campus, Stellenbosch, South Africa
  

• Funding: Costs are fully covered for SU participants.
  

Application Requirements:

• Applicants must hold full-time employment at Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票 for a minimum of two years.
  

• Written approval from a supervisor, line manager, director, or senior director must be submitted.
  
• Applicants must demonstrate a willingness to actively participate in a group project.
• Full attendance and engagement in all programme activities for the entire duration is required.
