1. Course Details?
- Tuition-free with R500 registration fee per semester
- Non-credit-bearing
- Various proficiency levels (beginners to advanced)
- Format: In-person & online
- Minimum participants 5 per class
- Start Date: the week of 28 July (Semester 2)
- Duration: 10 weeks (1.5 hours, twice a week) ?
2. Registr?ation
?STEP 1: Do the Placement Test
- If you’re a complete beginner, you can skip this step and go straight to Step 2.
- If you are unsure of your Chinese level, please take this short placement test.

STEP 2. Join this WhatsApp group to connect with your Chinese language teacher?
- Provide your full name and surname to the WhatsApp group admi??n
- Indicate your Chinese level?
- Wait to be assigned to your class-specific WhatsApp group?
STEP 3. Wait for your Chinese teacher to notify you to pay
- A minimum of 5 participants is necessary to open a class
- Do not proceed to payment of the registration fee until prompted
- Registration fee payment instructions (R500 semesterly)
- Tuition is free
STEP 4. Make payment
- Make payment to SU
- Use the following reference: R5533-5597+SURNAME?
- Send it to proof of payment (POP) to your language teacher
