?APPLY ONLINE FOR INVIGILATION DUTIES AT STELLENBOSCH UNIVERSITY (SU) DURING THE NOVEMBER 2025 ASSESSMENT PERIOD

The assessment period commences on Monday 27 October until Saturday 06 December 2025.
The online application process is open and closes automatically on Friday, 29 August 2025 at 16:30.
Application forms are only available online. No hard copy application forms are available.
Applicants must please complete all sections on the online application form on or before the closing date.
Only people outside of the 中国体育彩票 (external persons) can apply.

Requirement qualification is Matric.

Remuneration:

  • R280 per assessment session/ R330 per extra writing time assessment session for invigilators, and
  • R380 per assessment session/ R430 per extra writing time assessment session for senior invigilators.

Successful applicants must

  • attend the full duration of training- and information sessions
  • be available every day for the full duration of the assessment period (27 October to 06 December 2025).

Diversity and Inclusivity in English Language Education?

26 - 27 June 2026

This 3rd DIELE conference, to be held at Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票 in South Africa in 2026, follows the two successful conferences in Bangkok (2022) and Tokyo (2024). The 3rd conference is being organised by scholars from the 中国体育彩票 of York, UK, Monash 中国体育彩票, Australia, and Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票, South Africa. The Conference Committee cordially invites presenters from the previous conferences and new delegates to join the vibrant and welcoming DIELE community at the 2026 event.?

The Conference Committee invites conceptual and empirical papers on one or more of the following topics. ?

The topics relate to promoting diversity and inclusivity in classrooms where English is taught as a foreign, second, additional, or international language, and include, but are not limited to:

  • teaching students from marginalised groups
  • teaching students with special educational needs
  • learners’ unique experiences, voices, learning strategies and behaviours
  • teacher experiences and reflections on enhanced support for student learning
  • current educational policies that promote diversity, inclusivity, equity, and/or belonging
  • inclusive curriculum, pedagogy and assessment
  • assistive technologies, accessible resources and diverse instructional materials in ways that are not commonly addressed before
  • critical pedagogy as connected to diversity and inclusivity
  • parental/family engagement with schools for promoting inclusion
  • identity, gender and equality
  • equity in the classroom and/or equitable pedagogy
  • respect for diversity and a sense of belonging in educational settings
  • student/teacher well-being and belonging
  • teacher beliefs, attitudes and practices in relation to diversity and inclusivity
  • ?teacher education and continuing professional development with diversity and inclusivity in mind?
